At Mitcha Coontails, we raise exceptional RGF (Resting Grinch Face) maine coons with a lot of love, attention to details, ...and maybe a shot or two of alcohol.     

Dedicated to following a responsible breeding program, our focus is health first, and we don't believe in cutting corners.  We hope to exceed expectations and consistently provide top shelf maine coon kittens to our patrons.  All our pints (kittens) get a comprehensive DNA test for over 40 genetic diseases (including PKD, HCM, PKDef, SMA), but we don't stop there... that's bare minimum and by saying you test for 40+ diseases... you seem legit and thorough right?  Y'all ...that's like saying you finished high school.  Or it's like going to a bar that offers every beer in the world, and you fall for a Pabst Blue Ribbon or Natty Light beer.  Who would do that?

If you want the best... if you want next level... always expect your bar (maine coon breeder) to do echocardiograms and hip x-rays on all their breeding adults BY A BOARD-CERTIFIED SPECIALIST.  It's not just the outer looks we like to brag about but our inner health too.  

We are TICA and CFA registered and "our bar" (cattery) is located in Houston, TX (Cypress).  Our pints are raised by 4 Jr. Bartenders (4 kids) that pay attention to them way more than their chores or the sound of their mom's voice.  Our neighbors think we own snow leopards and panthers, so we like to think we're doing something right.  The head bartender is a perfectionist (thanks to her Korean background) and always striving to have the best, so if that's what you're looking for...
